Went up w/ my brother who has on 06 CTSV w/ drag radials and my buddy's 06 Mustang GT with a whole slew of bolt ons gears and slicks....and I beat all their A$$es:rock:

Air was super bad hot and humid....i was in shorts and no shirt in between runs and was still sweating at 11pm! I cut a 1.92 60' my first pass which my best before was a 2.00. Then one pass I cut a 1.84 60' and ran a 13.2 @ 105mph....not by best ever...but the CTSV ran a best of 13.3 somethin along w/ the Mustang also 13.3.

I tell them they are done once I finish her up w/ Mopar LT headers catless mids, cat back, VECII and a 100 shot!

See ya'll have a good holiday weekend and try not to loose any fingers! :burnout:

Man it is amazing how you pop up when someone posts anything related to racing.....you have it set to your cell phone or something...:D

YEah on the ET Streets...little 26X17" buddies at 20lbs. I think that it makes the ass end lower which helps transfer more the weight to the back end and lets is squat. I'll be needin some new M&H though maybe somethin around 28" tall wold be ideal w/ the mods I have planned w/ 410gears...we'll see!

Mustang has air intake, exhaust, predator programmer, underdrive pullies, control arms, 410 gears, slicks and a short shift. They usually run 13.0's in that car. They are adding nitrous....but so am I along w/ exhaust! Toast and next time I'll get vid!

Hehe, makes my 1.87 60' on the stock tires look pretty damn good!!:D

Really, good runs, but the Summer heat sucks the life outta our trucks, and everyone else's. I can't wait until Fall...

Nope. Since the rain a Syclone guy hit Atco and ran a new best in the mid 9's @ well over 140mph - sandbaggin' it until he gets it fully tuned!

The majority of the flooded areas have dried out. Now the hard part - clean up.:(

Hammerhead....good luck w/ the cleanup....sorry about the conditions you have up there...I'm sure we'll get ours come Aug/Sept :-(

I'd love for you to shed some insight on your technique for cutting a 1.86 60' on street tires....were they the scorps? You do have a RC right?

NO clean-up here Dude - in my area we have excellent drainage! In fact, we have a couple of areas in the backyard that tend to 'hold' the water (big puddles) - they're even dry now!

Now other towns, not too far away, got some flooding - They've got a mess to clean up.

My truck is a RC with the original Scorpions. No real technique - just a super-sticky track! I revved to about 4K and let the clutch out really quick - I did not 'dump' it. Track had so damn much glue on it the truck didn't even chirp a tire. Just leaped forward, bogged a tiny bit, then off we went. I think I had my tire pressure at about ~25psi that day, and 4.56 gears certainly help w/ the 60' if you've got traction. If I could've powershifted 3rd and 4th on that run I bet another tenth could have been cut off, at least. Unfortunately, powershifting my truck w/ the stock clutch set-up is close to impossible...
