Well, at least I got another one. After my red 05 got totalled, I've been dying to get back in an SRT. I flew out to Cali this past Thurs to pick my replacement: a black 05. The drive back was great. If you haven't taken I-15 and I-70 through UT and CO, you need to. Beautiful scenery and lots of mountain passes.

I guess you did. When I was on leave in Kansas back in May, a retard truck driver hit me and knocked me in a ditch.

Were you able to get your forged internals out of the other one? Man, that's the only thing that would suck is that you would lose all the work you've done unless the insurance company covers mods.

Yep, bought back the wrecked truck from the insurance guys for $3800. The damage wasn't extreme, but the frame got shifted a little and that was the big part. Cosmetically, I lost the front bumper and the driver's side from behind the door to the taillight. Everything else was fine. So I'll be swapping the engines this fall sometime and selling the one from the new truck.
I already did some work on it today blacking out the tails and stuff.
The previous owner put a groundforce drop on it and that thing is crap. The x-metal is way better IMO. New truck came with plenty of goodies including Bellanger headers/mid-pipes and magnaflow. I'll be getting picks of the new up as soon as I can wash it. It's dirty from the trip back.

Here's some pics of the new ride. It's still dusty from the 1000 mile drive and it's supposed to rain I figured I'd wait to wash it. Yesterday I blacked my taillights, my SRT badges, and exhaust pipes. Also took off ram head on the tailgate. I got Justin making me some special Fang emblems. They're gonna look sick I think with the colors I chose.
