i got my truck back

as alot of u know my wheel fell off a couple days ago and thank god im ok and so is my truck...i got my truck back yesterday they ended up having to put on a new hub,caliper,rotor,brakes(only the driver front needed them behind the rotor)but i had them put on both.he tried having me replace both rotors and calipers telling me that when i brake it will pull to the right,but theres nothing wrong with the passenger side so i told him the only stuff i want done is to get it out of the shop and if it pulss ill do it my self who wants to pay 500.hr labor or whatever its is but anyways the hit me with almost 1300. but im back on the road with a very very slight pull barely noticeable im gonna see if maybe it'll even itslf out or if it gets worse ill put a new rotor on............................thanks to all your glad your okays and remember listen to that frnt

So what was the cause of the mishap? ..... Did the hub come apart?

when the new brakes wear in completely it should even out so it doesnt pull anymore.


My hub almost fell apart on me. it was making a lot of noise and when I replaced it it was very loose. Its a poor design in my opinion because its like a 4wd hub where the axle passes thru it and leaves most of the assembly exposed to the elements. Doesn't look like much of a seal in it.
