I agree 110%, that's a down under El Camino, not a truck!
 
its funny I saw this post, Ive wanted one of these ever since I saw one. These things are wicked quick and a pretty nice ride. I met a guy once with an older model with the 6.0 motor in it. What a freaking ride! If I had the type of money that I could burn, I would have brought one of these over the seas home for myself years back. Yea its no SRT 10 but its still a def close 2nd for me in coolness factor.

Yes sir, they were going to be released as the G8 sport truck from Pontiac. Yet now they have been dropped on the office floor due to Pontiac's death in the GM infrastructure and no one knows if they will be built at all for the US market now. Kinda sucks in my opinion, would have liked to test drive one and was looking forward to them being released:(

Depends on what your asking? If you mean to import one to America or if they were going to be released here.

Import one = to much money, way way to much money looking at probably 40-50 k for the truck/car plus + shipping + getting it "ok" to be titled and plated according to American gov standards.

The G8 when it was going to be released was estimated at some where around from low to mid 30's if I remember correctly.
 
I would drive it. But then again, I had an El Camino :p
 
Still sucks and not an apples to apples comparo with WEIGHT being a huge factor! Those things can't weigh but about 35-3800lbs.:dontknow:
