I have a Confession...I have Sinned...

Yes my son, you have sinned. Your penance is to drive a Mustang II for one week. :p (Father O'Maley says "Get the Caddy!):)

Joe you talk to Christine...she will listen to you!
Christine, I think the only way to explain this phenomena, is, Men are only old on the outside. (Now, I'll appeal to her good sense of practicality), Roy's new Caddy (always assume the sale) will ride so smooth, you will be able to perform any advanced molecular synthesis driven by catalyst or substrate concentration, in this car. A MUST HAVE. (How's that Roy??) P.S., If he selects the black, his buddy from NY will help him keep it nice and shiney! And from a health stand point Christine, with all that HP you will absolutely be able to outrun any airborne virus launched from a sneeze (well maybe not)

David that all may just relate to my weird leftist leanings...I enjoy being a 14 second truck owner almost as much as I enjoy being a left wing republican!

How is the luscious Viper doing?

buy the auto, thats what won the ring........

I think you were looking at this vehicle too??? I may be wrong on that but if you were....were/are you thinking about the six speed or the automatic with paddle shifters?

I wonder if the new CTS-V comes with a better tranny than what they offered when they first came out. The first version of the auto debacle meant frequent trips to the repair shop and it didn't have paddles.

I find American automatics to be slushy and slow......

The old 4 speed auto on my 1969 Mercedes 280 SEC hit second like a hammer...

The one I looked at was the auto, It shifted great in D, but I missed every shift in manual mode. That 6200 comes fast!

I'm keeping my truck until the coupe version comes out. Did you test drive a version with the track pack, Recaro, seats and alcantara interior? I'd be interested in hearing how supportive the Recaro seats are.

The first time I went they would not let me drive...that car had the Recaro and suede appointments. The one I drove was $3k less and did not have the Recaro...

I sat in the Recaro and they were sweet...kind of hugged you like our seats do. But $3k??? Well why not?!

My thoughts exactly. I think the Recaros are some of the best seats GM has put in a car. I'm hoping the coupe version is lighter than the sedan.

I am really tempted...told my wife that it is the American thing to do!

Did you let Christine read my post? #24 That should have cinched it.:dontknow:

Roy, drive the Recaro one.

Ali loves the SRT seats, loves the bolesters. Did not like the recaros. The recaros are super stiff, to the point that most don't get them.

I don't disturb her when she is working...and she does not disturb me when I am sleeping...not quite sure how that deal came about, and I think it was a lose/lose deal for me...:(

Good point...a very valid excuse to go back and drive it again!
