...freakin traction. :burnout:

Stabbing the throttle at any speed/rpm combination in 2nd gear just absolutely roasts the Pirelli's now. 3rd gear doesn't give them much of a break either, hehe.

I'm gonna need some new tires soon. :D

:dontknow: Haven't even seen one yet. Going back this weekend to finish up the tune (and hopefully squeeze a few more ponies out).

I'll have to see how the drag radials work before I consider the Caltracs. May do the drag shocks too. Haven't decided yet. Having too much fun smoking the Pirelli's right now. :D

I havent heard any reports of "sqeaks" and or "rattles" with the Caltracs... Although, I keep mine pre-loaded for everyday driving ;)

if you preload them too much they squeek....back the preload off 1/4 turn at a time until the squeek goes away.....rattle is from no preload at all...load them a tad and it goes away...also a 2"long piece of heater hose on the load bar stops the rattle if you don't preload them.....

well the reason I was asking was eddie told me they squeaked bad on his, i took one of my old polyurathane knee pucks , and cut a thin slice from them, then used a tad of epoxy and put it right under the pin and then adjsuted them and havnt had any problems, figured it might help some:D

Guess, mines in the sweet spot ;) Not a peep from them and they get worked over pretty good :D

I have a fix for your problem, bring it up here to a mile high :) Its harder to roast the tires. I was able to roast mine at Joes shop in first and second, Joe even did it in 3rd. Maybe its the pavement in front of his shop but it was no problem. Its not quite so easy out here at close to a mile high.

We'll have to set up a drag race between yours and mine when a KC event happens that we can both attend. Hopefully, sometime this fall when the air is best.
