I feel for you. I hate a f'in deer. I hope they all die. I hit one with my ford ranger, then 5 months later I hit one in my new toyota.

I have hit several deer in my lifetime, although not at 140. Why so little apparent body damage? One of the several I have hit happend at about 70 in my old 1976 Pontiac. It pretty much took out the hood, fender, bumper, inner fender, radiator/core support, etc. The bimmer looks pretty unacathed except for the splattered critter and some apparent mechanical damages.

Yea, I told the guy that if he really hit the deer going 120 the truck was totaled... That has to be the most epic thread I have seen on here!!!


The real story behind the pictures is that a guy was travling 140ish on the autobahn and hit a deer, when he pulled over he couldn't see what had happen until he popped the hood... he though he had ran over it, when if fact it just went right through plastic till it hit the motor. There was only 5,000 euros in damage(I think thats about 6,500$$)
