I know we are MOPAR folks---but

that would be great to help inventory.

not a GM person, but still would be fun.

I've been close a couple times in pulling the trigger on 57's. One was a black wagon that needed some work, but he had all the parts. The second was a green 4dr that was all original. It had all the chrome parts, knobs and everything. Both were projects but would have been pretty easy builds.
The green one the guy wanted $5k for it. Last I saw someone in Miami purchased it and was asking $12k for it.
Lack of space at the time was the deciding factor. I kick myself in the ass for not getting the green one and just putting it in storage.

A 4dr will never have the vale of a 2dr. If you are truly going to go down the road of doing one of these take the time and find a 2dr. You will be glad you did when your done.

'57 Chevy is a really cool car. I love old school muscle cars. My dad just bought a '58 Corvette on Friday and he's not a GM guy either. Just liked the car.

I always thought the gas fillers were cool as fawk for the 50's. Most nowadays would never find the gas door. Hahaha

And give you the deer in the headlights look when they realize it's a stick shift and they don't know how to drive one. :D
