You are truly a lucky man and it sounds like you have a AWESOME daughter!  Just prepare yourself for when she starts dating!:(

Nice story!

Paul

I have custody of my 15 year old niece. She looks 20. I am already dealing with the kids and sometimes the not so kids....

Thanks for sharing,

With only having 1, and being my first, I'm trying to get used to the whole 'bad behavior' thing.

When they do something wrong or something funny that's wrong its hard to react sometimes. Or when they think they were really bad and worried about discipline, but didn't really do anything; you almost feel sad and give them a hug.

Such a learning experience....:)

If you aren't learning as a parent, you probably aren't doing it right! ;)

Great story and thank you for sharing. Mine are all in college and stories like yours brings back really fond memories. Thanks, I needed the push in that direction. Now I return back to the reality of writing more checks for rent, tuition and books =-)

My 7 yr old daughter just took her test for yellow belt in karate saturday, yesterday while at my parents she is asked to demostrate her abilities. I kneeled in front of her with my hands in the air expecting some jabs or punches. She stands in front of me in a boxing stance and then all of a sudden she kicks.  Needless to say I am still talking in a high pitch voice. Just thought I share it.
