Dodge Guru's, I need a part number.

I've noticed that the "base/work truck" model trucks (2006+) have a black grill (insert), similar to the chrome one, but black.

So what's the PN and cost? :dontknow:

for the 2004-2005 you can get them seprate from the grille but the 2006 you have to buy the complete grille. dodge does not sell the 2006 seprate. if i remember correctly that grille in the pic complete is about 270.00.

If that's the case, I'll scotch brite my "inserts" and paint them a satin/flat black.

True.... I just can't remember if it's possible to take them out (too lazy to go out and look ).... or if you have to CUT them out.

Soaking plastic chrome plated pieces in Castrol Super Purple will cause the chrome to slough right off. It's a old trick for removing chrome from models
