I Ran at Rockingham Last Night

I went to Rockingham Dragway with some friends last night and ran my first TIMED 1/4 mile passes. I was fairly disappointed, I thought I'd be faster. I was really the slowest vehicle running . I got my azz handed to me by a BB/N2O Camaro, and a turbo'd civic(twice). But I had fun and I think I learned a lot.
MY ECM is still not allowing me to flash it, so this was all on the stock tune.
Temp was about 80 with very high humidity all night. Started off of a Pro Tree, I wasn't used to that.

There was a blue and white GTS Coupe/TT (Underground built) there running low 10's on street tires. Around 12:30 AM KC and Kevin showed up with a TT Lambo Murcielego. They were going to race the two, but they broke a half shaft on their first shake down run . Chatted with them for a while before they left. Stand up guys. I'll see if the wife got any pics of the Lambo.

I wouldn't feel too badd,I have yet top break that 13 sec barrier !!Had a 14.01,just couldn't break into the 13's !!My daughter's been bugging me to head up to Orlando Speed World so she can race her Charger,guess it's time to go play !!!

My best at The Rock was 14.5 (Yes, I'm a proud member of the 14 second club). My best time of three runs was my very first time down the track ever. It went downhill from there. Second run I spun real bad and the third run was the 1-2-1 shift. Man I just knew my last run was low 14 maybe into the 13's but it all evaporated when I went back into first. I left Poppopmadman (Bill) asleep at the light but he blew on by as I was trying to get regrouped in the cockpit.

Gald you had fun. Just remember, there's always someone faster than you out there. Loosing to a turbo civic and BB Camaro is nothing to be ashamed of.

My daughter's been bugging me to head up to Orlando Speed World so she can race her Charger,guess it's time to go play !!!

I think my wife's Daytona would be faster than the truck, if she'd run it. I've gotten som 8.9 1/8's out of it when she wasn't looking.:burnout: :burnout:
I'm fairly certain I can get in the 13's with the SCT flash- I was soooooooo close on the last run.

temperature is killing you hp also.... my brother just w/ cai and 2 cats delete was running 13.8 all day long is an 06.. rockingham is a very nice track but looks like you have to work on the launch tecnique..I'm no expert here... hell I run a 17 w/ my rc and never brake 14's on that track w/ my 06 qc stock...lol.... but anyways the point is to have fun and sounds like you had a blast watching those tt monsters going down the track... I think I'm just jelous..lol..

Work on that 60'........get it under 2.0 and you will see mid 13s..
