I want a Ram SRT 10

Honestly, check trans, clutch on a manual. Also, check for oil leaks and feel the power steering. Also, ask about the crank bolt issue.

Yes. If I can get $45k it will go...of course, the price is going up a few dollars every day.

Dang Roy..that Cadillac must be spoiling you..;) .......$45K would be a good deal on your truck since you have about that much in the drive train...yours is probably one of the strongest built trucks on the forum..

But in the end it is just a truck...

I hope I never sell it...but there may come a day when I pass it to my son or daughter-in-law. They both like performance vehicles.

The caddy is a great daily driver...nothing to worry about...don't have to listen for strange sounds, or continually scan the gauges like I do when I drive the truck. It is very strong and sound...but right now it is having some diagnostics done on the Stinker Rear End...we have all the experts involved to determine why it leaks and what the best solution will be.

only problem i really have ever had is keepin my foot off the gas pedal

I don't think the tires are that expensive and parts are only necessary if you mod. Otherwise these trucks are very reliable. Biggest drawbacks are fuel mileage and harsh ride IMO. Also, the attention from onlookers seems to depend on where you are. I got a little attention but not much.

Exactly what he said, my truck is very rough riding. :D I would buy something more casual if I had to drive it daily.

Shit. That's simple. Quit putting fluid in it and it will stop leaking.

the only drawback i ever had was not buying one sooner.its awesome .all the other stuff about these trucks are true(expensive to maintain),but hey......YOUR DRIVING A VIPER POWERED PICK UP!!!! and it is priceless:burnout:

Rough riding?:dontknow:

It's a damn sport truck. Buy a Cadillac if you want soft ride. (sorry Roy);) :D

"If you are buying it for a daily driver I would think twice."

Yeah,I hear ya,80K miles just doesn't last as long as it used to !!!:D

I got AllData for my truck it says the crank bolt problem was fixed about half way through the production of the 04's

agreed !!!

Rough ride is another reason I don't daily drive. For the most part on the roads around here, the rough ride makes it handle worse than my 4x4 Dakota. I'm sure it would be sweet on a new road or a track. It is very sensitive to non-perfect road and almost scary in the rain or off road conditions.

I used to have a F250 4x4 this rides almost the same as that....I'm used to it so it doesn't bother me......Also I'm in rain 90% of the time down here in Florida and I've had no issue's with my truck, in fact traction was more of an issue in my diesel than this truck, probably form super high torque! Only drawback is my foot wants to keep hitting the floor and I watch the gas gauge go down....If you drive well a full tank last me 5-8 days...lead foot 5-8 hours

I'll have to agree with the above statements but I'll have to add speeding tickets. I got 2 in one month then invested into a Valentine 1 and haven't had a ticket since!

QC and Auto would help a lot with daily driving. I guess I'm referring mostly to RC's.
