That is the result of a High Dynamic range photography. The camera takes 3-5 pictures back to back at different shutter speeds to exaggerate highlights reflections, shadows, and oversaturate colors. Using post processing software like photoshop it combines the pictures into one super sharp picture like you see.

There's another member that did a photoshoot of his truck in the rain and the effects were more pronounced. Either way, beautiful truck.

hell even the iphone 4s HD pic makes my truck look good:D

That is a huge difference. Your truck looks good, I mean besides being red, but you put enough black on it for me to like it. :)

Jeff, Based off this picture can you find me? Im standing on my balcony and trucks out on the street.....

Sorry jeff, Ive got you in the Grand Canyon, I can post a GPS coordinate if youd like but it would take more time. It would be easier just to show you another picture. here is the rock from another angle. You were parked down by the water

You may recognize the house at the picnic/campground at the bottom left of this picture

Here it is from another angle

Yours would have been more difficult had it not been a national park with so many well known overlooks and points. Everyone has been down that road.... Except me

Recognize everything, pictures are from the correct area, but almost an entire state away. No where near the Grand Canyon.

Here is a clue

Its still part of a canyon. Utah I think part of Glen Canyon, south of Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument.... somewhere near Kanab on the way to Mogui Cave?

I'm impressed.....

Damn, it is just incredible what you find, how you know and even with a huge curveball sent (first pic), you still tracked it down and got it

This one is hard. Considering this was taken around the same month you created your VTCOA account, i dont have much to go by. Im willing to bet you brought it home cleaned it up, and took some pictures of it in the local area as a vacation the same week you bought a truck would be unlikely. So it would be in the fortworth area. There are 13 recreational lakes in Dallas Fortworth that match the background. Seems every lake in the area is long and narrow like the 1.5 miles crossing that you provided with a total shoreline mileage of over 746 miles, and 38 recreational access points. From the satelite view, i cannot confirm the red building in the background and the street view, does not have imagery from the parking lot you are in. If i had more time i could find it but, Im sure if i had a few more pictures of the photoshoot, i could narrow it down.

Thanks, what people dont get is you cant just look at a picture and tell the story. You have to look at a story and paint the picture.

Your pictures have had all the metadata removed, or the camera didnt have the info, so i have to look for other context clues. In an hour or so, i could just about map out the route you took on that road trip, using the street signs and landmarks that you randomly took pictures of. Travel on 15 much?
