I went wide open today for the first time since Aug 28 2010...it felt nice, that is all.


Actually not really, its also the first time i went WOT since i installed my wideband. It showed 12.5 when i was wide open. Colder temps make the mixture leaner correct? Just thinking that is offly lean for a stock tune.

That's a little on the lean side IMO. 11.8 to 12.0 at WOT is about as lean as I am willing to push it.

And you are correct. The cool air will make you run a tad leaner.

12.5. Is perfect at WOT! Thats what I was told while tuning my truck this year by tuner! (NA or FI same A/F)

I've never pushed any of my vehicals to 12.5, 11.9 is the leanest i would get with my supercharged cobalt with meth. Cant wait for my SCT tuner to get here, just got to canada and is in Vancouver. Hope i get it by next week.

I wish this snow would come closer to the 16th. The next winter auto-x is on the 16th. Last time was my first event with the truck, siked to go back now i know how it handles on snow/ice.
