This has been our ordeal the last few days...it's a good thing we have a diesel generator, they're saying it may be a couple of weeks before we get power back on at our house...I've never seen anything like this, it looks like a bomb went off around here.

i could be wrong, but i think the ramifications of global warming are very hot summers, and very cold winters. pretty much the conditions of the seasons are way more harsh than normal....but like i said, i could be wrong.

Sounds valid.. I just don't like when global warming advocates try to compare our climate with the most notorious global warming situation in the solar system.. Venus.. Because.. Because it's like over 940° F all year long there.. Even ON THE NIGHT SIDE!!!

Thanks for asking Steve, Its the worst storm me or my dad remembers here in Arkansas or in Chicago. Totally ruined my trees. We had more than 1/2 of ice on everything. I got a few pics for next months pic of the month. My poor baby under ice.
We're surviving. Im going to invest in a generator too. It gets cold when the power is out.

Things Got pretty ugly out here in KY. But I was one of the lucky ones, I only lost power for 4 days. Igot a buddy of mine just west of me said it'll be at least 2 weeks before he gets power. Trees are down every where. Cars and houses are totaled. But luckly my baby has a reservation in the garage and wont see light till the salt is off the roads.

Well we have power and phone service for the second time now, and hopefuly it will last! We live in town so there are still many without power! Myparents and the wifes grandparents have been staying with use, her grandparents got power this evning. But my the officials say my parents won't have power for three weeks! It's pretty bad out of town!

And to think I was working in west Virginia when it hit, and my wife bitches at me somuch for saying I was comng home, I finaly told her I was staying! Now she's glad I come home and got us some heaters!!! Everyone involed in this stay safe and stay warm!!! Prayers sent to you!
