Well we have had some shitty weather here. I was out all night with the fire department for hydro lines down and transformers blowing up. We haven't had this many trees, limbs or hydro poles down since i've been alive. We have over 45 hydro poles snapped off in just a 1.5mile radius around town. our town is small only about 2000 people. Just heard we could be out of hydro for 5 days. Its about 1*C here right now so its cold. Thank god for generators to keep the house warm and fridges cold

Heres a small stretch of hydro poles down

We had a bad Ice storm here in New Jersey back in 1994. Everything fell over including anyone trying to walk out to there car! Ice like this is the worst! Be safe Guys!

Wow. Good luck to you and everyone else there. That looks serious!

Thanks guys. I'm sure its going to be a long few days but shit happens lol. Maybe this will be the last kick of cold weather and i can soon look forward to getting the 10 out!!

Yikes!!!!!

Trying to make light of a serious situation and cheer you up.

If it's that cold eff the fridge put that crap outside and plug in the tube!

i have enough power i could run the tube as well. I googled that and they all say not to run a big screen off a generator because of the spikes, and being an electrician as well, i can understand why. I have heat, tunes and cold beer, hell im set

Or u could just pack up and come to tenn... lol wasnt it you who came to georgia?? Might of been some1 else but i know it was some1 in Canada

We don't have to worry about power outage's, with all the Hurricanes and Tropical Storms down here the previous home owner installed one of those instant generators that kicks on within a second of a power outage. Would've been nice to have back when we had Hurricanes rolling through here every few months. Since we got here the neighborhood has never lost power from a storm.

That would have been nice. big money though. We got restored with power late sunday night so it wasn't too bad the hydro guys were putting in some long hours. I forgot how nice it was to just flip and light switch on.
