Idiot light ... Pic of small motor, left side...WTF

Got an Error light tonight driving home from a car show. Just driving along peacefully, then .... There it was ... Left side of dash instrument cluster a pic of a small motor light came up. So I Check the book ..... Emissions system Issue or Systems service needed ..... Just a little vague, Don't ya Think ..... Any you guys run into this, and what would be the typical remedy. All gauges and fluids are good, right around oil change time though, 3000 miles since last one.

Any thoughts or recommendations appreciated .......

Great ...... Now what ...... Think disconnecting batt. for 10 min and back on would get rid of code. Put Mids on in March, not a code since install.

Did you get gas recently? If so then you cap my be loose. Unhook the neg terminal from the battery for 15 minutes. After that drive it some and see if it comes back. Your truck is safe to drive.

You could have an exhaust leak if they are not welded, I had a light due to the clamps coming loose. Another easy fix if it is the problem?????

Thanks guys ........ Tried the battery thing and it worked to get rid of the light. Drove around a bit and it no come back. But I think I'm leaning towards the exhaust leak because they don't seal for nothin. I had to get all retightened a few weeks after install. Looks like I may do the welding thing. I'll try tighten the hell out of things first But I think Trubuilt might of hit it on the head.
