How big are you?? I'm 6 ft 3 and had a 93 Dakota ext cab for 17 yrs when I ballooned to 320 lbs.
(I forgot to mention though that I did set the seats back an inch on the tracks for the 93. them I put buckets from a Daytona in it)

I'm down to 240 now and have a 2008 Dakota ext cab as my daily driver. Quad cabs lack a bit of headroom but the extended cabs are fine for me. I really like my 08.
