your factory radio should be sirius ready...contact patrick for the complete system...easy to install...i just installed mine 2 weeks ago

I wouldn't put in an installed satellite radio, I would get one of the new type that are very small ( I have an XM) and it plugs into the cigarette lighter, and you put a small magnetic antenna on the roof because you pay per each radio, and having it portable you can easily move it from car to car and not pay for each vehicle's usage.....my $.02

I HAVE THE PORTABLE ONE IN MY WIFES CAR.THEY ARE NICE BUT KEEP IT CLEAN AND GO WITH THE FACTORY LOOK.IF $$$$ IS AN ISSUE,YOU WOULD NOT BE DRIVING ONE OF THESE CASH HOGS!! JUST MY 02 :rock:

They have a factory builtin radio? Do not want any thing plugged into lighter or modules. My 06 has Sat and Navigation , But I am NOT spending $1900 for this! How much is the factory sattelite radio?

I pre-ordered my 05 QC and got sirius installed after delivery since it was not an option at the time of my order. I would go with the factory sat radio, the integration is very nice. I'll try to look up the cost later and get back to you. As I remember it wasn't all that spendy. The dealership probably charged me more in labor that the units cost.

I also got the bluetooth module installed at the same time. Now that was a serious effort. The first module did not work at all, took two trips to get that one fixed.

Contact Patrick (Dragon) at Avondale Dodge. He is one of our vendors and can fix you up with the factory Sat radio tuner and install kit. It works through the factory radio and all controls work.

I recently purchased the tuner and install kit for my red truck that has RB4 factory Nav. Good way to go without having add on's showing.

I have a portable sat tuner and got tired of looking at the extra unit and wires and that is why I went factory.
