in the market for an srt10

i now have a 98 dakota rt and ready to upgrade. started lookin around and drove an 05 srt10. can anyone give me ideas on what to look for between the 04-06.. anything better between the years? i want a quade cab. also thought there was a rear sway bar??? thanks in advance for ANY info..

only advice is buy a rc, more fun in my opinion. As for what to look for, make sure she wasnt beat on with the obvious mods and clues.

The '05 QC didn't have a rear sway-bar.... the RC's did tho ('04-'05). I know you can retro-fit a rear sway-bar on the '05 QC, you just have to take the towing hitch off.

04 have smaller front brakes. And the fastest SRT-10 is a QC. QC"s have a back seat so that you can really "handle" bussiness vs, just having your stick played with.

It's a tough call, both are first rate and you can't go wrong either way....

RC is more of a sports car....only two real seats, stick shift....this would be my first pic for someone getting just a toy....or maybe a single guy's daily driver....

QC, other than mileage, you get more options here....not only can you go 150 mph, you can haul 3 of your best friends with you......it's great for a couples night out, good if you need to take out clients, great for towing, and if your spouse can't drive a stick she'll like this option more....

Both are great....I had an 05 and an 06.....both have great seats and the interior is just really a question of preference....I actually prefer the look of the 06 front end to that of the 05.....
