I sure do miss the old days of this race......Unsers, Andrettis, Foyt, Rutherford, and on and on. But for some reason today I find myself really looking forward to it. Hope it's a good one.

Run Granny Smith apples through a corer/peeler
put on aluminum foil, completely fill center with butter and brown sugar
Close foil and put on edge of coals for about 20-25 minutes
Serve with french vanilla ice cream

That does sound good. Might have to add that to the menu tomorrow. Gonna do a pork shoulder along with the ribs, I'll be firing up the smoker pretty soon here to throw that in.ccfeyh said:Add some Barbequed Apples and you got it.
