Nelson, hopefully the antibiotics will kick in and knock the infection out. Go see the other Doc tomorrow and hopefully he can determine what has been damaged. No telling what was on that knife blade or what's growing in your injury.
I was bitten in the arm by a cat once (long story). I washed it and forgot about it until a few days later it was looking all red and felt hot. A nurse friend took one look at my arm and said get to the hospital before you lose the arm. Straight to urgent care I went. So don't treat this lightly. Give it the attention it needs. We don't need another reason to call you stubby.
