Just thought I'd share some interests. I currently am an avid photoshopper and designer - more of a hobby. And wondering if there are other VTCOA Members who share this same interest?

My current project is www.unvivify.com. I'm putting together a showcase for my past designs and ideas as well as my writings.

These are some of my designs that I've gotten inked. More coming when lifes belt takes another notch.

Nice:rock: This girl I'm talkin to does tattoos. I gotta get as much work done as I can before I piss her off:D

Question
I had a tat done and it scarred from infection. The job looked great when done but I think the care he advised screwed me. Can it be re done over the scar tissue or am I screwed for life, I was told the ink wont take???

Following life's intentional doubts LoveThisTruck? Perhaps she has plans too...:D

I've gone over some of my scar tissue before. It takes longer than a normal tattoo of the same size as when you have outlines and fills, it'll have to be done a few times more. I can't remember exactly how long I had to wait before being able to have that done, but it was at least half a year. That way the skin can hold the pigment instead of having another reaction.. which is coins wasted.

Other than possible recurring touch-ups here and there, I don't see why it would be a problem on old scar tissue. Unless this is recent scarring..

What care was advised?

It's possible that if they gave you solution to help with the healing process, that it may have went backwards instead. That's unfortunate Demon 8.

could be the artists work itself. i probably have 40 hours in the chair, i put some aquafor on for a day or 2 after, then maybe some regular moisturier for another day or so and havent had any prblems. did you go to the gym or swimming in a public pool after?

I was told to use nothing except a no fragrance lotion with I think Vitamin E. In two days it hurt like hell, got infected scabbed over completely. In about 2 months I was left with a tat that looked 30 years old. I will try to post a pic this weekend.

Stayed out of the sun and pools. I have pics when it was being done and it was perfect, no more :(

My Tats are free, my son is a Tat Artist. He's putting together drawings of a sleeve he wants to do on me based on things that have happened to me in my life.

So far, with what I've seen in drawings, should be an awesome sleeve.
