Statefarm is the best. when you have a problem they deliver for sure. when I totalled my lightning about 5 years ago they told me it was a total loss and fully reimbursed me for what the truck was worth in 6 days!!

Thats really cheap. Do you have a $10k deductable or more?

If Erie Insurance is available in your state, check with them. Last time I shopped around (about a year ago), as soon as I said I had Erie, most agents just said they knew they couldn't beat it. They keep costs low by being very picky, no advertising, and they only insure in low risk areas (sorry Louisiana and Florida). North Carolina is as far south as they insure because of hurricanes.
I pay around $3000 per year with $100 deductibles for all of the vehicles below, plus my 2 Astro Cargo vans.

I had 7 policies with State Farm that included House, business, 5 vehicles for 20 years without a single claim except for windshield replacement - a common problem in Arizona due to stone damage --

Then the wife was sideswiped in her 4 month old '04 Ram Hemi 4x4 by an AH who said "I didn't see you" as he drifted into her on a highway -- she had nowhere to go -- anyway - damaged the front fender and rear panel on the passenger side - we get estimates 1 of which included replacing the front fender the other said it could be fixed - we wanted the front fender replaced - the difference between the two estimates was $100.00 - State Farm refused to go with the fender replacement estimate as their POS adjuster agreed and I went ballistic - I wasn't going to have bondo on a 4 month old truck - my agent refused to budge -- I cancelled all my policies within a week and went with Safeco --

Bottom line -- I don't care what my insurance costs but when I need to use it I don't want any excuses - all I want to hear is "yes sir" --- I want it like new! State Farm blows! JMHO

Sidebar -- We paid the extra $100 to have the fender replaced. The shop that did the truck said there was no way they could have fixed that fender since the area near the antennae was so screwed up and buckled

I now use Farm Bureau i switched everything i own over there about 5 years ago, they then had the best rates, they stilll have the best rates, and have handled all my claims very quickly with no problems what so ever.

Mine is through farmers... its my second/pleasure vehicle on the policy, and I pay around $61/mo for it...

Negative $250.00 deductable.

Day after Thanksgiving took her to Lowes Motor Speedway. If you donate $25 to the children's miricle network they let you drive 2 laps around the track. Bad news is your not the only one out there @ 20 other non drivers. A Yukon could not hold it's lane and ran down the drivers side only $2300 in damage. but State Farm handled it the next day.

Went from $347 a month to $240 a month through allstate, 19 + 500hp + perfict driving record/no claims = INSANE rates. They told me they will go down in October again...

How old are you!!!!!!!

After I bought my SRT, that was the first thing that I was worried about was the insurance going to kill me.
If I was paying 240 a month, you would see a "For Sale" sign that the beast.

When I first got mine it was $420 a month. I was getting raped with no jelly:( Plus I had three tickets and had to have a SR-22 (high risk insurance) As soon as the high risk part was gone, I now pay $140 a month:)
