Well I finally got tags for my truck after having temps since April and now I want an intake. Though with so many available thought I might ask everyone what is the best brand to go with and where canI find the best price

Thanks
Tony

A 'drop in' filter is pretty much the going advice on the forum, but its kind-of a personal / splitting hairs opinion :D

PM dragon (avondale), I think he has drop-in performance filters

what are the specs on the sock? and witch one to pick jockey, hanes :dontknow: what one has better gains. :)

I personally use one of the knee highs, one that I have worn for at least 3 days while clearin land , and cleaning out the barn!LOLOL

Flo capacity? uh, perty good!:D

Haha thanks guys. I have been looking all morning. Ilike the way Volant looks with the added scoop to make the scoop functional but I've heard some things about themas far as littleto no gain

I had a Volant on mine before the JMB. It was....okay. I wasn't really happy with the fit. I had to fabricate a 2nd mount bracket for the scoop.

I'm much happier with the JMB.

Oh, and you're not gonna get "that sound" that we all love with a drop-in.

Here's a video of my truck when I had the Volant on it:

It's a little hard to tell but you can sort of hear it (the noise gate on the camera kicks in...heh heh).

i think I am goin to go with the JMB seems like the best buy plus it looks good. Might even be gettin some Black gloss Valve covers from them too.

You are getting it confused with your birth control method.:p

With some CAIs you can't add Kevan's "box" setup. So that should be your first priority.:D

LOL Thanks Bone! I'd say 'nice pimping', but all the boxes are sold. :D

The Battery Tray Storage Box (BTSB) will work with the following aftermarket intakes:
- JMB
- Volant

It will NOT work with:
- K&N
- Mopar
