our radiator is from a cummins... that being said will a cummins intercooler fit right in front of it? if it did, people with turbo setups could use one.... just curious.

the one I jsut used fit perfectlyscoobert said:that stinks. thou i would immagine that the input and output would line up with holes on the radiator?
an intercooler off acummins, aftermarket was to wide because the frame rails on the cummins are wider.. we had to cut down on the bottom then it bolted right up!Stinker said:the one I jsut used fit perfectly
good advice, ive put about 1,000$ into mine (sct tune, air flow)and im gonna be happy with that.I would love more power, but i made that mistake with a previous truck.it was a 2002 diesel ,first it started out with small upgrades and before i knew it i probably had 30k in upgrades and then it was just a matter of time before stuff started breaking=$$$$$$$$$ just my opinionStinker said:everyone wants more power Scoobert, but most dont realize the after affects.
getting over 600rwhp on these trucks is costly, fuel system upgrades, which by the way becomes a pain in the ars since msot of the time you cant run under a 1/2 tank without running the pumps dry.
the clutches, rear axles, engine upgrades, guages, tuning, driveablity, cooling.
most should just do simple mods and stay happy and have $$ in there pockets,
fastsrt19 has to me one of the nicest trucks around, and I owuld bet he enjoys it, andhas money in his wallet.
most big builds run 30k or over at a minimum, you dont think it does, and most will argue that statement, but then they havent even done a cat back either.
dom probably has 150k or twice that in his
fstjack has probably 200k in ONE of his
ram from hell at leat 100k
others at least 50k to get to 750hp
its not cheap, they dont last, and comming from a vendor this may sound stupid, but building one for big hp is dumb unless you got the money to do it twice

i was born in 82, 300hp wasn't hard to come by then, by the 90's 500 was easy to buy. by 96 you could get 700hp stock. and now.... 1015hp from the factory CCXR.How many years did we dream of 400 HP engines, then we get 500 HP stock and still aren't happy
scoobert said:i agree very good. never thought that 150K should be put in one engine. personally i would start with something faster for 150K. i can think of 5 cars stock faster then a built truck.

but maybe in the 1920's things were slower.
you are right i will more than likely tear my engine down every year and go through it..........goin fast is simple math fast = money squaredStinker said:everyone wants more power Scoobert, but most dont realize the after affects.
