I thought of this about a year ago but never moved on it. Would anyone be interested in a "fascia saver" that bolts to the bottom of the front fascia using factory holes. I was thinking maybe 3/16 plastic and have it stick out maybe a 1/8" past the bottom edge of the front fascia. This way whenever coming out of steep entrances with your lowered truck, it would drag the "saver" and not the paint on the fascia. My truck is only lowered about 1.5" in the front and you really have to watch it, ive already installed a new fascia because I ruined the original crossing a train track (when it was even lower), and my new fasica is rubbed on the bottom again. This would keep from dragging the paint off. I would think I can make them somewhere in the $100-150 area, they would be all waterjet cut. Suggestions? Interest?

I like this idea!

Wonder how it would hold up after a scrape? Maybe add a aluminum bottom?

Just thinkin it should look as though it is meant to scrape the ground.

Justin, I think this is a great idea.

Lookin forward to the finished design!

Ill get them made up, give me a few weeks for the waterjeter and to get material.
Thanks

You thinking something like this, Justin? :dontknow:

No, it would bolt to all the bottom fasica bolts and go all the way around. Ive seen those on the vipers, they dont have much choice, but the trucks can use a nicer piece because of the way the fascia bolt down

Justin,

Would it be possible to use the same principle and make a splitter out of it.

Use the same holes for mounting, but protrude forward of the fascia 5"-6"? Maybe powdercoat them black or any other color the customer might want?

Ive thought about that also, I want to try this and if this works out, we can all design a splitter together and come up with something cool.

Sounds like a great idea. Will be interesting to see finished product. For the "splitter" are you thinking along the idea of the new ACR Viper has under the front bumper?
