Intermittent drone/vibration

Need some ideas here. Feel a hole truck drone or vibration for lack of a better description. Occurs occasionally at higher rpms in second and third gears. When it does happen it seems to subside as I depress the clutch. Could it be the u-joints? Or am I into rear end or tranny issues?

If you are running a magnaflow muffler check for holes!!

U joints it does sound like, but like Slitherbeast said make sure it's not your exhaust or even wheel bearings.

Doesn't act like a bearing and it can stop as quick as it comes so I'm ruling out the exhaust for now. Factory set up with only 31000 miles.

Also could be throw out bearing or pilot bearing being it changes with clutch movement?

The Drone description is most probably exhaust related. Maybe a loose connection or a torn hanger post. That's where i would start. Get it on a hoist
