I have been searching the net for a place that adertises the price of rods and pistons for out trucks. Trying to get a price on them to upgrade to paxton and spray. only wantin 700 whp daily driver. need some input. thanx guys

Most of the time yo have to call a builder, the products are usually not advertised


Some use diamond, JE, wiesco pistons, and rods go from crower to others,

Exotic engines has many parts as well as JMB justin can help also.

What pisotons would you use with a s/c and a small occasional shot of spray? and would you sleeve it? only want 700 whp. maybe a lil more for track runs.... dunno

I am selling my old set of JE pistons. They will give you 9-1 compression. If you are into boring out the motor to fit these you will get to 700 easy.

BTW my new ones are JE also

The probem is bo , you can spend a ton of money easily.

there is a few things that you need to be sure you do, these viper engines are not small block chevy's


so for one, do good rods, pistons, and main caps at the very least.

go with a reputable viper engine builder, just because someone say they can , dont take htere word, this is a must.

You need to have arrow, exotic, undrerground, Justin heffner, pro line, someone in that field to do the engine.

Then you have Jason heffner in sarasota fla, and Roe racing a vendor here.


but honestly, not many builders acutally "build" there own engines any more, most use proline in Ga.
and to give you an idea of what they do and cost.

underground racing of charlotte nc uses there engines in all there record breaking cars ,making 1500rwhp or better with no problems

Now those engines also run around 12k-14k

but you could probably contact them and the would probably build you what you want, and on the east coast I would say they are one if not the very best:rock:

I use Ross Pistons, Dyers custom builds my rods. On boosted apps, I anodize and ceramic coat the pistons. All work done in the machine shop 36 miles from you. You are more than welcome to swing by and check out 2 blocks going together.
