I would never get that phone because coverage just sucks for me. I am just now getting vcast in my area. Plus everybody is telling me everything is going digital. I don't believe them. There are still areas(usually were I work) that is analog only, or else I would get a pimpin phone. So if I am just now getting vcast I will bet there will still be analog only zones.

It was kinda funny. Just about everybody at work could not call out on there cell phone but I could because it is a tri-mode phone. So to solve that problem they brought out satelite phones.

If price is an issue I am sure it will come down with some time. But by then there will be something bigger and badder.

They are alright there is no bluetooth so no ringtones unless you buy from itunes The speaker phone isn't so good and they aren't very loud. My friend has one and that is what he told me

Mine has bluetooth and can pull anything off my computer that I want it to, thus ringtones. I got mine on Christmas and have 10 ringtones on it that I made since I got it.

I am reading that there is no 802.1X support on the iPhone which kinda sucks since that is what my University uses. I hope the edge network is readily available on campus...

The edge network does work, although it's not as fast as I'd like it to be. The phone does have wireless capabilities as well. I'm connected to my home wireless network right now.

I just set up my email (from my home pc) Karen sent me an email and I got it just fine, read it and then deleated and it still shows a 1 on the bottom of home page.:dontknow: Do you know how to get rid of that?PS I've tried almost everything. There are know messages there!

Bill- you need to "Empty The Trash".

I'll take a digital pic of the instructions that came with the phone nothing hardly!!!!! I want the windows format, the guy knew i had a dell at home, and i told him i've never had an ipod nor would i want one!
I am going to uscellular tomorrow to compare! I think I just did an impoluse buy:dontknow: I have 13 days to return with a 10% re-stock fee. I DONT NEED AN IPOD! I want a phone/puter with email, bluetooth even though i dont know how to use it, plus i want to email with my same adress, and still show vids. Is that possible? I don't need 8G what ever that is!

I got my Bluetooth headset from those folks. Decent deals and lots of good info. So many different models to choose from.

If you see something there you like, Google/Ebay the model number and you may find better deals. I'm sort of half-shopping around for a SonyEriccson P1i.

Also- don't buy anything from a mall store or kiosk at the mall. The deals ALWAYS sound good, but once you read the fine print......OUCHIE! It stings worse than that butt-zapper thing you got for X-mas.

While the iPhone looks cool and is certainly trendy, lots of folks from the PC side of things are having a tough time with it. You're not alone.
Don't call it an impulse buy; call it "product testing".

I had a 3 on my mail icon. I figured out it was looking at my second email (gmail) account that I had installed on it. Try going to settings --> Mail and look at the account(s) you have there :dontknow: ... Maybe delete it and then re-create it?

I had a blackberry pearl and loved it. My sister just picked up a blackberry curve and she loves it. Blackberry's (aka crackberry) are great devices and truly addicting! Although it is easier to browse the internet on the iPod there seems to be a lot more ways to personalize the blackberry. I attribute this to the iPhone still be relatively new and that apple has not release a development kit for 3rd party vendors. Another thing the blackberry has going for it is that it is a helluv-a-lot cheaper than the iPhone!

Doesn't even require a battery. And real simple to use, a couple pieces o wire with roach clips on each end and you can hook it up anywhere :rock: And, you will not loose it in the crack of your ass (well some of you could - and you know who you are)

Well lets see, I bought it on last friday "NIGHT", took it back Sunday, and traded for an AT&T Tilt. More of a PC phone with Windows modile. Plus it does way more then the Iphone! GPS, they are working on hi-speed for it, takes video and sends text pictures. Ok so far it is alright, but still can't watch all the you tube vids and It won't play or show attchments in my email So now im thinking of taking it back and just sticking with my cheap LG and buying a laptop! Kevin your right!! product testing!! Result as I see it! Tec. is almost there. Just not good enough for me to justify a 2 year contract for 100 bucks a month! plus a 300 dollar Phone. It was 100 bucks cheaper then the Iphone.
