If the vette were a 6 speed manual you might have a chance due to driver error but against an auto the chances of you winning are pretty much zero.

i've ran an an 06 c6 and i pulled him by a car...an around 120 he was catching up not fast but i could tell he was coming...so i shut it down...and i'm modded fully built motor all this guy had was exhaust

Honestly, even if you lose, you still won. Unless they beat you by 5 car lengths plus.
We have Pick-Up trucks. Heavy bricks, that are fast. A Vette is a 2 seat fiberglass car with virtually no trunk. If your truck stays close that is a testament to how awesome these things are. A Vette owner should be embarrassed if he/she can not destroy you in a race.

I raced one recently, all he had was exhaust. I have the X-metal reflash, K&N drop in and B&M shifter. We raced 3 times, and he beat me badly 3 times. Ive run 13.3 at 105 and he just kept walking me. All three runs were from a 30 roll or so which anyone with an RC knows this is prime territory for us. And he took that away. So my answer to your question is get a N20 set up and spray the house down. Youre gonna need it.

Yeah but StingRay can also drive it. I have seen plenty of first time vette owners loose to mustangs because they dont know how to drive it. You aint taking him off the line unless he smokes them more then you, otherwise I dont know about a QC but at 120 in a rcProf said:

that all depends on where you shut it down at... in dallas we do 60mph to 160mph......it's har to get twin turbo vipers to hook up....or nitrous fed vettes
