I disagree, come see my Hemi.

about $4,500 and 6 psi.

6.1 is a top end cam, about 25 HP, I wouldn't define it as mild. Our Viper coup cam nets 8HP on a V-10, what would you definte that as?

The internals I don't know, mine are aftermarket. Manley makes good internals and not expensive.

ok ok not mild but it doe take alot of work to get good power out of them and there is still no tune which is the biggest road block

true story..this is the main reason i got rid of my hemi.. i loved it to death but they are horriable to tune...the closest shop i foudnt taht could tune it and show great gains was in cali.... and the trannys are poo poo

I use a Split Second controller and the Hyperpac.

yeah but no tune so what do i want a 6000$ kit to run 3LB's of boost and i alredy had to re build the top end to do so:(

hell we cant even do a cam upgrade not even the very mild 6.1L cam with out new springs retainers and rods:(

the internals of the 5.7 are a joke if you are putting any more power through them they need rebuilt:dontknow:

Many people are using the 6.1 cam with stock engines. The 2003s had 98% of the spring problems. The 6.1 cam should be used with 6.1 springs and pushrods. Not that big of a deal since you dont have to remove the heads. The nice thing about the 6.1 cam is that you wont throw codes.
