LOL, I am shooting for 9th place if all goes well.

way to stay on topic fellas.

I asked a questioned about changing an automatic QC to manual before, but didnt get a straight answer, most of the answers were i dont know.

i know the clutch could be an issue with the added weight compared to a RC

so want to know if someone took out a trans in a QC and replaced it with a RC trans, is that the only thing need to be done?

Just wondering if there is a guru type guy that knows anything and everything that can be done or cant be done to these trucks..............or would I have to look for a Viper Tech? most of my questions would be towards the motor/transmission
this was your question at the beggining of this thread, but to answer the current question, you would have to change the flywheel, the driveshaft, the crossmember, the engine tranny wiring, and the pcm, the controls at the steering, and the center consol

You forgot to mention the yellar ones are ugly and slow......:itsme: :p

And the black one's are the fastest color:D

is it do able yes ...... You will not need to change your pcm...you will need to get it flashed with all the automatic stuff removed...i was planning on doing this actually...i have the pedal assembly from a standard clutch and break.... i thinkit could be done for cheaper then making a fully built auto matic....if you have anymore questions hit me up 5053303162

and you might not need to change the crossmember it might just need modified..we used my crossmember going from man to auto
