I am looking for a daily driver and found this.
This is the email response I got, I think it must be too good to be true....your thoughts please and maybe a VIN check
Hello

Sorry for mailing you so late

The car is still for sale. The asking price is $ 3.300.It is located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. VIN is WAUMF78P06A183037. The car is registered in my name and the title is clear (no lien). It is in excellent condition, no dents or scratches. It was always garaged and the regular maintenance was done in time. It wasn't involved in any accident and has never suffered any kind of damage. Also this is a non-smoker car. If you have any questions regarding the car just let me know!

I had a customer offering $ 4.000 and I've lost about 2 weeks waiting for him to pay just to find out in the end that his loan wasn't approved. I've lowered the price because I'm in desperate need of money it's either the car or the house so if you don't need a loan you can have it.

I'm currently signed up for a protection program offered by Google Checkout and I would like to close the deal through them. If you are not aware of this program you should know that it will allow you to test drive and inspect the car before paying me. You will have a 7-day inspection period to decide whether you want to keep the car or not before they release the funds to me.

If we reach an agreement, I am willing to take care of the shipping on my expense to your address because for the moment I don't have time for a meeting. If you have cash just send me your name and your shipping details and I'll ask them to fill you in with the transaction details.

I don't want to offend you, but the car is priced for a fast sale so please if you intend to apply for a loan or financing do not reply to this message!

These are the pictures with the car:

Look forward hearing from you

I think you already know the answer

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
What is the tip off to you besides the price and the car...everything else sounds on the up and up, and I do want to pay cash

I am sure the car is worth atleast 15k. unless its salvaged

for 1 i don't think Google holds the payment for 7 days only way they do that is if an authorization is put onto a card in which case they will hold that cash up for 7 days waiting to see if the seller finalizes the sale. but there is nothing that stops him from authorizing it immediately and taking your cash and running. that is used more for like insurance say you rent a room and they have a 500 dollar insurance they can authorize the 500 dollars if you take the room leave nothing is damaged etc. within 7 days they will release the cash back to you. but i dont know of any 7 day holds google has. just my 2 cents. plus the fact of the vehicle and the price :)

my brother just bought an 03 A4 1.8T lowered, lots of new hoses, FMIC, for 7 grand...

that car is way too nice...

unless it's been totalled...and even then...i'd think it's still a nicer car than 3,300...

then again...i bet he'd rather have his house than his car;)

go look at it...if he says no, then walk...that's what we did...drove 5 hours to look, and 5 hours back...but we bought it...otherwise it would have been a waste;)

I sent an email back saying if the car checks out and we can meet and do a cash deal with a clear title and carfax we have a deal, otherwise no deal
