so what if he actually responds to this thread he'll just make more excuses,tell everyone he will get it taken care of then resort back to the samething hes been doing for the past 8 months,when are the administrators in here going to actually hold him responsible,its funny that 1fast400 and hennessey can be held in such low reguard yet everyone keeps praising and defending boomer ,i'm sure hes a niceguy thats great and everyone thinks the other two guys i mentioned are a**holes but if either one of them had screwed anyone over everyone in this forum they most likely would have been banned and everyone would bash them willingly,yet be a niceguy and u can screw over as many people as u want

From Gary I have ordered, Catless Mids, Stage II, Bassani Headers & Magnaflow Catback. All arrived with in 10 days of purchase, All have worked great. Catless mids did not fit perfectly but were not horrible. 90% of my phone calls have been returned. These have been my only dealings with gary. From Justin I have ordered 2 Viper emblems, Justin seems to be a nice guy and I will be ordering his CAI relatively soon.

Oh by the way Mike...I put my headers on today, do you want my spare manifolds??? lol j/k...I'm going to keep them around just in case I go FI.

Just because recently a fellow forum member had a problem at my place of chice to service my truck does not mean I will ever go back cuz of that experience. Like I said. We all have choices. We base those choices on our experience.

You've had great experiences with Gary, I would expect that you would in the future. So why would you discard that relationship because of someone else

For those trying to contact Gary.....don't.
Ask to speak with Marty instead. Marty is the SRT-10 guy at X-Metal and Gary's right hand when it comes to the trucks. Marty works on 99% of the trucks that come to X-Metal and knows WTF is up with them. He might not have prices off the top of his head, but he can get you updates on your rig (and probably yell over to Gary and ask him about a price. LOL).

Crook, crook, crook, crook. I've called it since day one. He's a salesman, period. He posted in a thread that he'd buy my brake calipers, said he was sending the paypal right then. Never got it, when I brought it up and cited the thread where he said he was going to buy it, I was the bad guy. The sooner board members remove themselves from his butt, the sooner they'll see he has screwed over A LOT of members.

There's no thread on here about the caliper deal you mention. None of your 479 posts here mention anything about it.
I know what you're going to say, but I don't see the Deletion Fairy in the Buy/Sell section very often.
I couldn't find it on the NFFF either.

I know you love to scream and yell Mike, but be careful what you say. You could end up in a heap of legal trouble.

Changing your mind is one thing, repeating 3x in a thread that you are buying something that cost 300 bucks and then don't send any money, that's just his crooked measure. I would have LOVED to have sold my truck, I had it sold basically, then I lost an oil pump. What am I supposed to do about that. I would have still sold it to the guy, but he obviously didn't want it with a busted pump.

I can verify the oil pump.

The 2nd one was due to it being cryo'd wrong. Made it as fragile as glass. It was shattered. Hence why I lost the pump with the cruise set while driving down the interstate.

You were not ripped off, were you? You didn't send him something then not receive payment, did you?
Flaking out on a deal is one thing; being a "crook" (as you stated) is something entirely different.

I don't believe "lies and lies", but I have to agree with you, there is a serious unresolved issue between Wommy and Boomer. Both at some time were trusted members among us (and I am not saying they aren't now).

Boomer has never screwed me over - I've bought multiple items from him.
Same with Wommy - good transactions with him too.
Hopefully, it will still work out between them.

You are an idiot. All of my posts PRIOR to mid december were deleted. Not sure why this is so difficult for you to understand. I asked to have those posts deleted, it wasn't a decision by the mods to just "do it". I've had this name for awhile, simply to lurk and read. I had just agreed not to post. The only reason I went back to this name, from 1fast400, is because outnumbered wrote a lifetime story novel to the mods about how I should be banned for my own "health". I've never had an issue with outnumbered.

Kevan, I think we'll have to agree to just disagree. We see the boomer issue differently. I'm just glad to see the thread has gone this long without it being deleted. I think it is good for honest descriptions, good or bad, about dealings with vendors on the board.
