I just hope that Boomer will come on and take care of this in a timely fashion and answer his critic's.....Good, Bad or indifferent. But I am quite sure that he will sooner or later......I have always supported him from day 1. so I am a Boomer guy through and through. I will support him through this as well, unless what he posts in relation to this thread is a bunch of lies and Bullshit.....Then and only then will it change my opinion of him. So I will sit back and watch what happens and then make my choice....Not saying that what all of you have written is wrong but there is always 2 sides to a story and I would not be much of a friend if I did not give him the chance to answer to these problems. Kevan, I think we'll have to agree to just disagree. We see the boomer issue differently. I'm just glad to see the thread has gone this long without it being deleted. I think it is good for honest descriptions, good or bad, about dealings with vendors on the board.

There are several issues at hand here.

BTW Gary called me at 6:00am last week to "talk"...he said the lowering kit front spring issue had been resolved...that I had the wrong front springs and that he would send the correct ones...and he did....and the second they were shipped he E-mailed me and asked if I would go back and edit my Throttle Body comments....I am not for sale...thank you for the springs that replace the faulty ones... but as I paid for those...I figure we are..even

here are entities to deal with this sort of thing...better business bureau, IG for the state you're in etc.

Sounds like you have legitimate complaints and solicited to be bribed to change your opinion (that I hold in high regard). I look at your and others comments here to help guide me (as you said) in my purchases. If someone is being dishonest I would GREATLY appreciate information about it.

I could care less if any vendor posts up or not. They're businessmen and that's their main concern. Not everyone here needs to be "bros" with an internet group. So get off his jock. Forums are used as an exchange of information and if some asswipe is making half-assed products and not taking responsibility for that then I want to know about it. I don't know either of those guys nor do I plan to get to know them but I'm interested in what they have to say.

If "Boomer" was an Ebay seller most of his supporters wouldn't buy from him based on what his feedback would most likely look like. Maybe that's what this site needs.

The fact of the matter is that this is the business side of things. Um...I think Wal-mart is a shitty place to shop, all of them in NY(meaning city area) are dumps. There customer service sucks. But millions of people shop there and like it. I have had good service from Gary, so I buy from him. I'm glad you come here and stand in judgement of people who you don't know personally nor do you know of their dealings personally or professionally with Gary. Many of us have purchased without issue from him on more than one occasion, and many of us have spoken to him at length on the phone through PM's yada yada. The point is for those who haven't had their orders filled or Gary make good on issues with products my sincerest apologies I understand your frustration. But call his shop leave messages until you reach him or contact your cc company and dispute the charge. But when you come on a forum and meet opposition from those who he has serviced to their satisfaction don't get pissy and harp on the being able to post feedback because that's what those of us defending him are doing giving our feedback!! I honestly don't think Gary expected his X-Metal business to grow as quickly or be so time consuming as it has become, he's undermanned and overworked. Is that anyone here's problem? No absolutely not but what it does it garner him a certain amount or respect and loyalty from those of us he's provided good products and serviced too. Never judge a man until you walk in his shoes.. my 2 pennies
