It's almost done

My front pipes are wrapped as well to keep the heat under floor to a minimum. Also helps with the breathing. A bit like a fireplace chimney.

I noticed that bandage on it you surely would want to leave those hot pipes nekkid now hahaha .. and the braided pipe addition

Would you recommend wrapping as much of the exhaust and downpipes as manageable ? Been thinkin of this for a while now.

Wrapping , basically a heat shield to help prevent high temps from and route more exhaust heat out the tailpipe instead of transferring its heat to the body other somewhat sensitive parts , melting , burning etc.
My thought and question is , How much does wrap actual help ?
A heat shield would be a better option to protect the undercarriage IMO ! The look of wrap is ugly IMO ! As for the heat being pushed out the tailpipe more may be a very small benefit along with a small benefit reducing the sound effect of the exhaust .
But hell maybe someone has more research if their are any real benefits beyond it being a very small transfer of heat , patching exhaust leaks and prevent corrosion/rusting f the ( Aluminum lol , Wifey lol ) .
If you’ve ever seen what happens with a plugged Catalytic converter then wrap probably wouldn’t help much and a heat shield would be a better option. I’ve seen converters glow cherry red in the daytime when plugged up .. the straighter the exhaust the faster the exhaust will exit the tailpipe which benefits the breathing of the engine and giving a possible gain in HP .

Definitely do not want your aluminum to rust!! Hahahaha!

I've never thought about wrapping the exhaust but now that it's being mentioned in going to see what the consensus is!

I couldn’t resist hahaha

Ok here is my Lady in Red with black undergarments. @Wifey
If you have some extra cash sometime you could get this in black

...Or accent under there with red plug wires and a red radiator pipe

Hey did you see Justin can do Plum crazy purple ;)
@Kiwi SRT10

That puts a different look under there for sure!

What paint did you use? The VIPER letters stand out nicely.
It was simple powder coating and polished and sparkled up the Lettering.

If you go all black then i think the JMB black radiator pipe would look great!

Whenever you need to change the radiator hose anyways

This cover pad at the back looks like A&& so id like to clean that up at some point and maybe go with a an all black engine bay.

Many have removed the pad . It makes a difference and looks a heck of a lot better . I removed mine but saved it in case I ever decide to put it back on for some reason hahaha ! I keep all the factory parts I remove or change ..

The hood heat sheild pad stinks from the factor also .. the start to sag and seperate from the plastic push in retainers ..
mines still on but has started doing those things .. not sure about a fix , but the replacement isnt available any longer new .
There was a thread on here a long time ago where someone modified the heat sheild with shellac or paint to stiffen it up .. others have painted the letters on it to make it look better ..
