I prefer to pull my noise hairs. I like to do it while driving - Corteney's car! :D

Its just to easy to grab a hand full and pull. Damn i bet i could of weaved a tow strap rated at 50000lbs by now, These bastards are getting thick! Think i will start selling them to renforce concrete twice the strength as rebar at a fraction of the weight:D
 
When I worked for IBM we were in a meeting (always in meetings). One of the guys from the design team was sitting across from a coworker and me pulling his nose hairs. We almost fell out of our chairs watching him. Started doing a play by play with sound effects. The pluck, the rush of pain, the watering eye's....Lol.

I heard it can be dangerous to pull nose hairs out. Seriously. At the very least it hurts like hell and some of them are bleeders.
 
Its actually turning into an informative thread:confused: I would like to hear more about the dangers of pulling Vs cutting nose hairs.:)


I just pulled 10 at one time and 9 before that from the same side thats got to be a record or something.:dontknow:

Trichotillomania (TTM) or "trich" is an impulse control disorder characterised by the repeated urge to pull out scalp hair, eyelashes, beard hair, nose hair, pubic hair, eyebrows or other body hair. It may be distantly related to obsessive-compulsive disorder, with which it shares both similarities and differences. Trichotillomania has been mentioned as a disorder in very early historical records. Onset generally occurs at puberty. There is a strong stress-related component, that is, in low-stress environments some stop pulling altogether. Pulling resumes when one leaves this environment. 80% of those afflicted are female. Evidence is now starting to accumulate pointing to TTM as being genetic in origin.

LOL, I only pull when it feels like i can braid them so i think i am clear of this particular mental disorder.:D

Like silverback stated , if you aqquire a infection from pulling nose hairs , it will not be pleasent. furthermore they have been known to be deadly. my doctor said: some people get away with yankin them out without any problems , but many suffer fatal and near fatal infections.

Damn, now i don't only have to worry about killing myself with my high speed driving i have to throw nose hair pulling in as a possibility also..:marchmellow:
