I am finally done with the well. I managed to get 4 days off out of 54:( It just seemed like it would never end. I was so close to being done with the job it was pointless to have some one relieve me for a few days and not know any of the paper work. Then something, alot of things with this job, would go wrong and drag it out longer.

Funny thing I must have been a real prick in my previous life. After I got back from days off, 30 minutes after my relief headed home problems started happening:mad: While I was gone everything went perfect.

Even one of the guys said we didn't see your relief at all because there was no need to see him. Then I show up and it goes down hill.

And to top it off the trucks I ordered are running behind. So I have to stay at work untill they pick up my stuff:mad:

I managed to go home for the night but I have to be back out there bright and early. It is almost a 200 mile drive for me.

Thanks for listening guys:rock:

As the cat said when he caught his tail in the door......

"It would be long now....."

Hang in there, babe.....

There wasn't any rig problems. It performed real good.

You name it, it probably happened. It all started with a bad cement job on intermediate and then found out we had about 5 holes in the casing. Spent about 23 days dealing with that. Mostly lost circualtion after we drilled out from the shoe.

After we TD and ran logs, we were making a slug and lost total returns. As soon as my relief drives off, 30 minutes later all this crap happened. Ended up LD the drill string with no returns and when we ran production casing they didn't bother to change out the pipe rams.

I am just happy to finally be home on days off.

BTW I am a mudman, so I made a pretty penny for the boss but it was just a big pain in the but.

glad to see you finally get some relief...i got meetings tomorrow and about 4 rigs to hit....are we still gonna see you in january ?

Cool I just ordered a line lock and getting some cryoed gears put in before I head down.

Yeah it looks like I won't get the farthest traveled trophy. Probably still have the longest drive so far.

I should be able to handle the line lock. But the gears, still not sure where I am going to take it. Not much to choose from locally. Should be pretty straight forward for someone with any mechanical skills. I would probably just end up screwing things up more if I was to do it:D
