Well, I tinted my own tails and 3rd brake/cargo light. I used Testors hobby paint (about 5 coats I believe) and Duplicolor Clearcoat (another 5 coats) to get them as dark as I wanted. If you do this yourself, you can stop when they get to the darkness you want. There is some orange peel, so I'll wet sand and polish them after a few more days for the paint to cure. I'm really happy with how they turned out, $25 in materials and about 2 hours of my time. I ordered some LED bulbs because now its hard to see the lights in the daytime- that's the only drawback. That's one of Steve Holden's VTCOA sticers in the back window- LOUD AND PROUD:rock:
I also painted the battery boxes to match the Silver exterior. Justin's powdercoating was so much better:congrats: than the standard coating on the box (he recoated the box on the driver's side) that there was a huge and noticable difference. So I used Steve's Fang decals as a stencil and painted the 2 lids with more Duplicolor paint, peeled off the decals, and cleared the poop out of them. I'll wet sand and polish them when I do the taillights.
