Jack....you deserve it bud.

Happy travels with the new ride. :driver:

May it provide many painless trips for you, while enjoying the very hobby that brought us all together in the first place.

Jack, glad you like your new wheels. The old saying, what goes around comes around. You have been great to us, so this is the least we can do for you. If I stop in for a visit, can I take it for a spin around the block!!

BTW...and sorry to take this off topic...but where are you that it's dark at 7PM?

Video not clear.

I am in El Cajon which is just east of San Diego. There is a small hill just west of my home that shields us from the sun at night (what a concept HUH?). It casts long shaddows near sunset. It was probably after 7:30 when the video was shot.

To all my family from the forum I am very humbled at your generosity.

I want to especially thank Patrick for putting this together and making it happen.

Ever since I met Patrick I have been telling Margo my wife what a truly special person he is.
Patrick is a very unique blend of a man who knows how to have fun and has a very good sense of values. He is very bight. He is a man who Gets It. I am honoured to call him my friend.

I am a person who has more in life than he could ever imagine or dream of having. I am not refering to things that I posess or have the use of.
I refer to the people that I have in my life today.
You the members of the VTCoA are those people.

I have several vehicles that have a special meaning to me at this point in my life, but over time they will go by the way.
I have a new Pride Ledegend scooter that means more to me than any of the other cars, trucks, Hot Rods, and boats I own. That vehicle will not go by the way untill I cannot use it anynmore. Then it will have to be passed on to someone that needs a scooter. I really own nothing, I just have the use of it and other things for a while.
I am prouder of the scooter than anything else I have with wheels.

The new scooter is very cool, it is a newer model of the one that was stolen. The seat is better as are the armrests. The headlights & tail/turn signals are much better looking as they are designed into the vehicle. The tie down ring attachments for transporting the scooter are much improved. The weight carrying capacity is better. And on and on and on.

Thank you all again, for one the most special things that has ever happened to me.

Jack

Dear Jack,

So often we hear stories on the news or in the papers about all the bad things that happen to good people. It can very discouraging stuff. Particularly when the unfortunate victim was a friend or family member.

When we on the forum found out that we could do a little something to provide a happy ending to the story about our brother Jack.... well let's just say we jumped at the chance.

Patrick called or e-mailed us and gave us a wonderful opportunity. Those of us who were able pitched in a helped out as much as possible.

But I would be remiss if I didn't mention that many, many others who couldn't help out financially played a large part in supporting you emotionally and with their prayers too. I just wanted to take my (figurative) hat off to them as well.

Everyone on the forum (and I can probably say this without reservation) has a soft spot for FASTJACK and his ubiquitous fatherly goodwill and sage advice. Jack O'Donnell is like the wise grand dad of the VCTOA.

I'd just wanted to take the oppotunity to tell you that you are greatly appreciated and loved by this fine family.....

Thank God that sometimes good things actually happen to good people.

.................among which you are conspicuously recognized.

God bless you, brother.

There are very few people in life you meet whom will measure up to how you have described Patrick. That is probably the best compliment you can make of somebody Jack.

Cardude, its pretty cool huh!!!

See, we really all do agree to disagree at times, but when it comes right down to what is important - we are there for each other!! That is cool and I don't care who you are :D

I'm overjoyed that everything worked out for you, Jack. Keep on rockin

Jack, this is truly great news....congrats bro

I just got back from the annual charity event my buddy and I put on in Florida each year and got all the emails and posts about this. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to get in on it.

Jack- I'm glad to hear you're 'mobile' again.

A cool ending to a good story. This should have been on the local news.

Is the video missing audio or is it something (else) with WMP on my Mac?

A couple of pointers to the camera operator:
1. Decaf is your friend.
2. Hold the zoom button towards the "W" and count to 10. Then begin shooting.
:D
