I just picked up a Craftsman 2 ton (4000 pound rated) Aluminum low profile floor jack with a workable lift of 18-1/2". I would expect this jack has enough a$$ to lift one corner (at a time) of a RC, weighing in around 5200 pounds. Anybody using something similar (or different)?

Yeah that's plenty to lift it, but you always wanna use jack stands if youre gonna crawl under it.

I have that same jack, works very well.

Thanks Jack. Its first test will be hefting my wife's Honda Pilot to replace the sway bar end links. It's incredible what the local dealers here want to charge to install $55 bucks worth of parts.

I have had a 2 1/4 ton jack with 18" of travel for about 20 years now! it is awesome!! i should change the seals soon. the casters are real sloppy now!!! it is a steel jack not aluminum. watch aluminum for cracks !!
