"Jailbreak" iPhone

Done it a long time ago. Still need to do it again since the 3.0 update. Might do it tonight while you reminded me.

I just got the 3GS yesterday....it is a hell of a lot faster than the 3G but i'm not sure if you can jailbreak it yet....guy at the apple store said it may lock the new S???

LOL it basically unlocks the phone, and allows you to do... well anything I guess:)

You can customize everything... wallpaper, ringtones, etc. They have "themes" just like on your PC. You can have more than 4 rows of apps on each page and on your dock.

You can turn the camera into a video recorder. They have an app that lets you scan barcodes LOL like a price check thing at Walmart:D

All thoes apps that cost money... not anymore:D You get them all for free.

Anything you can think of....
 
Damn, that's pretty slick. I thought I was "up-to-date" with my enV touch! I've got Verizon though. I-Phone is in their future supposedly. . .

It doesn't take these kids very long to hack these things LOL, but I'm not sure.

I jailbroke mine but didn't like how much it slowed it down. The things you could do were cool but I like the speed of the phone.

Faster, compass, and record and email video. Think there are a couple more things, but most of them we got with the 3.0 update. Oh wait, you can use it as a pocket heater :D (the 3Gs has been reported to having problems with getting really hot)

I have the 3G and the 3GS....the S is super fast when it comes to everything....opening web page, download app, runing youtube bid....ect all around faster has a bigger processor and it's a special screen that doesn;t leave fingerprints nearly as bad.
Guy from Apple store pointed it all out when I got it yesterday...i thought the screen thing was pretty cool:rock:
 
Here is the comparison between the 3G & the 3Gs.

-The speed difference is great.
-The glass is awesome. I use to leave all types of smudges on my phone, but now it is minimal and by time you put it in your pocket and pull it out the smudges are gone.
-I have not had any issues with my iPhone heating up as of yet.
-I have sent many videos to youtube since I have had this phone (very easy)
-Camera with autofocus and macro is improved (still has a way to go though)

Forgot improved camera 3 megapixle I think.
