is it safe to visit japan right now?
it cost 775+tx from jfk, is there a cheaper way to fly? like just showing up and buying the tickets?
was thinking about a motorcycle tour.

Make sure to spend plenty of time around the Nuke reactors lol... you'll come home and never need to buy another flash light or light for your house,, you'll just glow green and light your own path.. lol

You have to buy a round trip ticket. I wouldn't just "show up". There might be some Visa issues. This time you should make a plan Scoob, even if it is a weak one. Japan is a pretty cool country, I've been there a few times. Not sure about now, check for travel advisory warnings if there are any.

visa/passport????

Here is some info from company's travel site:

Effective: July 4, 2011

Japan Earthquake
Update: As of May 30, 2011 @ 0230hrs PDT (May 30, 2011 @ 1830hrs JST)
As the situation has stabilized in Japan, the country risk rating of Japan has been decreased from HIGH to LOW.

I'm not sure if this helps or not, but that's all that was there on the site about warnings on travel to Japan
