Looks like the jeep gets caught and loses????

I had the same race with an identical Benz about 2 months ago. Since then, B & G Stage II flash and Borla exhaust. I'd like to get a rematch.....;)

I was out on him 'til 90 then he started rolling past me. I believe it would be quite different now.:D

Not sure how you would define "loses". Looks like the guy in the AMG lifts right after he catches up (which took quite a while). The Jeep spanks the AMG for a good ways.

That jeep took off HARD! I would definitely like to drive one of them, I heard they are really fun! :burnout: :burnout:

The AMG passed the jeep before the end of the race... neither lifted till the AMG passes the jeep. Yes thats a fast SUV, but if you lead the first 99 laps of a race then get passed at the end you LOST...

cool video...

They started @ :20 and he finally caught up @:32 ...so 12 seconds to pass. Hard to say in 1/4 mile, but 1/8 got smoked!

Exactly.

I did the same thing to an '05 Vette two weeks ago....right before my B & G flash.

....I meant in the context of the video clip.:p

Maybe the race was to the fourth cigarette butt past the roadkill on the left?:D

Someone was power braking at the light, If it was only the Jeep that would explain his jump.

If the Benz was power braking also then he got waxed off the line!!

Were you on Beltway 8 today?

That AWD is a force to be reckoned with. For that reason the jeep would be hard to beat off the line if it's stock or not.

hmmm i got him even front door to front door at 13 sec ..so by the time he passes i think they would be almost even at the 1/4

Two things i still find interesting here though.

1. the AMG is 86000 dollars (are you kidding me) Would of rather bought a viper or zo6 vette
2. Yes it has AWD but its still a freaking SUV (BLAH) Heres another ugly groc gtter for some fruitcake who cant drive but wants to be fast i say rubbish and ugly waist BLAH!

The jeep is still a jeep but its a heck of a lot cheaper and looks so much nicer unlike that plain jane status symbol of a suv, $86000 now thats funny!
