Bill.

Not something I would do but I certainly can appreciate the work. 2 questions why gold with green accents ( Not sure if thats the color but pics make it look that way )?? And why is the bug deflector still on there??? :dontknow:

Been thinking about your question and wanted to give an answer that made sense...I hope.

I go to car shows all the time. People have gotten into the habit of saying I want my car to look just like that one. You see the same flames, same mods, everything. One just needs to look at ricers to know what i mean. I wanted something different and I spent alot of time talking to the folks that do this work for a living. After alot of samples and different colors, paint and pinstripping, I fell in love with the gold and green.

The original thought was white and silver ghosties, but it looked to much like every other ghostie example I could find.

True Flame would have been really cool, but, it's already out there on SRT-10's. The Ralley Stripes I really like, but I would just look like those who have already done it.

Others have ghosties and more will do ghosties, but the conservatives will pick common colors, common designs and stay inside the box. The risk takers will do something really special, jump out of the box and be unique.

Hope that helps

As for the bug shield.....have you ever drove through Utah....:dontknow:

And if you take a good look at some of my crash pictures, you can see where the 30 mph sign hit the bug deflector and bounced away. The grill is in one piece and never suffered a scratch. The bug deflector on the other hand did suffer....alot

Have a good day and good question BTW

Jeff

Congrats bro! Now don't go F*(k it up!!! :)

From your lips to Gods ears

Now I just need to do my part

Fair enuff bro I've been in the show scene and can certainly understand wanting to do something a lil different. I had the bug guard on my previous Ram so I certainly understand its functionality I just figured with the custom flame job and going for a show feel form outweighs function!! Thanx for sharing mang!!

I really like those flames and the layout. It is nice being different. Just a quick photo of a hotrod I built. Had flames in yellow and red, got tired of them, and had a friend add more flames.

Absolutely b-e-a-utiful!!!!!!!!!

And your right, that added set on the front just throws that car into a whole new category. Love old cars :D

My problem would be I would drive it everywhere, and would always want to tinker, add, change, etc.....

Enjoy it

Thank You for sharing :star:

Hey Jack, now that I caught up to you - can you please make sure Loosey gets a nomination from me in the truck of the month club :D  She looks nice ........ :)

I think that "Loosey" is a prime contender for truck of the month. I would be honored that you would put "Loosey" up for nomination.

Just remind me as I am old and forgetful.

Oh, if Jerry forgets - trust me I WON'T!!!! :D

I want Loosey in for September's truck of the month club. Even if she don't take home the Blue Ribbon - She is very deserving. :D :D :D

Custom on the outside, Stock on the inside ----- PERFECT combination.;)

And, I am partial to tough old gals .... She hung in there just great.:star:

Now, her daddy - he was going through a little empty nest syndrome since about June 15th or so .... :dancing:
