No thanks.lbstone said:I appreciate the info Kevan. Damn, you should be a JetHot sales rep!!
I hear ya, thanks for passing the info on. I know I gotta do something with the headers as I had some LT on my Magnum as I said before. Under hood temps got pretty outta control, you could boil an egg on the hood! I'm pretty sure I'm gonna give the JetHot a go this time!!Kevan said:No thanks.
I just got lucky and found something that works well, and works especially well for our situation. I figured I'd be a nice guy and pass the info along.
Kevan said:I posted some initial results in my original thread.
Engine bay temp has dropped SIGNIFICANTLY. My exhaust manifold temps went from 600F down to 322F.
Sound is the same. No changes.
I'm still working on the same tank of gas, but I expect a little MPG gain as well. I'll post some results when I get all the data in.
JetHot is twice as effective as ceramic coating.
The coating prevents horsepower LOSS due to excessive heat.
What's the forumla? (1) HP for every (10) degrees cooler in the engine bay/intake area? Something like that.
Great warranty with JetHot, and a lifetime rust-through guarantee.
For a 14 sec. twin hairdryer setup?![]()
Sorry about that.rreinicherr said:Empty your PMs. I need some more information and I have a question for you.
THANKS!
did your headers come with the ceramic coating or did you have it done ?? if so, where ?vpr hler said:Installed Mopar long tube headers with ceramic coating. Enjoy the pic.
