JMB's CAI question

I was looking through JMB's website. I wanted to call them with my questions but they are on vacay until 4/8.

Is the red color on his chart a match to the valve cover color?

Anyone that has the CAI and radiator hoses have any problems?

Does the CAI add much HP?

Just wondering. :dontknow:

Justin answered this question and I believe he mentioned wrinkle red was the correct match for the valve covers.

I do not think there will be much hp gain, But it looks and sounds real nice. He can match the color. Mine is red with out the wrinkle.

The "Gloss Red" is a very close match to the valve cover color WITHOUT the wrinkle, "Glossy Red Wrinkle" is the same shade with the texture added in to match the covers very well. "Wrinkle Red" is satin (less glossy) and has an incorrect texture compared to the valve covers.

I have the Gloss Red and it's a damn-close match to the valve covers.
I'm very happy with my JMB CAI and CC. Added HP or not, it's a nice addition to the engine compartment.

Justin- are you coming to Boomers at the end of the month? If so, can you bring a sample of each of the 'reds'? I'd like to see the Glossy Red Crinkle. Thanks!
