Like I said, I didn't mean to offend anyone with my statement. I probably should have kept my mouth shut. However, Jefferson, you bring a VERY GOOD point to my attention. I'll be the first to admit that I am not familiar with every single person's truck on here. So it's a great idea to get the "quiet crowd" involved. That was we DO get to see some badass rides. :rock:

I guess the self nominations came across my monitor wrong. I do apologize if I upset anyone.

no apology needed .... what would a forum be of we all agreeded with one another on everything... that is one thing that make this forum GREAT to be apart of - is you can have ur own Option and not get kicked off the forum, b/s all the great ppl here

Thanks guys for the whining...I am out. I know I don't stand a chance in hell to win but I went for it anyway. Since some were offended by my self nomination, take my name out please, and add someone else that deserves to be nominated. I vote for 505'sfastestviper.

Self nomination was in the rules. We may not stand a chance but we did as the rules required. There has to be a looser in any competition and I'll take one for the team. If all the entries were all great, the decision would be too difficult anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally, l agree with the self-nominations. My truck doesn't get out to play too often, but has been modified very tastefully, both performance and appearance wise, and in my opinion could be a contender for TOTM. There are only a few on the forum that have seen it, so getting nominated by a fellow member would probably be difficult without soliciting a vote. (Don't get any ideas, Stinker...)This month l dropped the ball and was very busy, therefore l missed the post for July TOTM. August is just around the corner, and maybe l'll get the chance to throw NOTAHEMI into the ring if the rules stay...

FYI:.... The reason behind the self nomination....

Some of you may remember that last year when I started doing the UnOfficial TOTM, the majority of the trucks nominated were trucks that had been seen and posted in threads and talked about a lot etc.....

I wanted to see if I could get some participation from the quiet crowd that has some pretty sweet Rides. For the most part, we got to see some of those rides.

So I guess this is my vote to leave in the self nomination. Without it, I think we all miss out on some nice rides. For those that are upset or confused because people self nominated. Every opportunity was there for you to nominate someone. It should not be the fault of a member self nominating because someone else couldn't find an FI truck to nominate first.


It was really nice this month to see a bunch of pictures of trucks, not engine bays.

To FerrariTruck......

I hope Dom denies your knee jerk opt out (Note: guess not, sorry man, your truck is one of my favorites, Jeff)
