I installed a factory Chrysler hitch-rear bar and it works perfectly. However it is a pain in the ass job, it is a lot easier to get JMBs kit and go that route.

The RC's were not approved for towing. In fact it states such in the Owners Manual.

Also the load capacity is only 720 or 780 pounds. For me that's my fat ass, a pizza and beer for one night.

Have you seen your hitch in comparison to the factory one on another truck? I've been wondering for quite sometime if there's any diff. between an aftermarket such as hidden hitch vs factory in looks/mounting ease, etc. but, Mainly: does the hh have any more/less showing or length sticking out from bumper than a factory? Hard to tell just from pics. Thanks!

I have the factory Q/C hitch on my R/C. Works Great looks the best, it is a bitch to install.
